Candidate: Linda Alkins

Linda Alkins and her husband Bob both have deep roots in the community and have watched it grow.

Some residents will know her for the 10 years of being employed with the Municipality of Callander were she has been Deputy Clerk, Administrative Assistant and Lottery Licence Official. She brings a wealth of municipal knowledge to the table.

“I recognize the financial challenges the Municipality faces on a daily basis in regards to our lagoons, infrastructure and road repairs, community safety and the need for a new library facility. I will seek grant and funding opportunities to supplement costs and realize the importance of a allocating Reserve Funds in the annual budget for future expenses.”
